QUICK RV PARK REVIEW PANTHER LAKE NJ BEFORE HEADING TO DC
ℹ️ After an incredible month (ish) in Maine, enjoying the fall colors and hiking in Acadia, we spent a couple week in Connecticut (where we used to live) because Chris had important work meetings. It gave me an opportunity to see some of my family, good friends, and I was able to deal with some life stuff - like moving a bunch of our belongings out of my brothers house (who generously allowed us to use it as storage before we embarked on our RV life journey) into storage. We rented and Airbnb in a town called Rowaytan, which is an adorable beach town about an hour from NYC. Our Airbnb was adorable and our host couldn't have been more lovely, but i have to say, we missed our airstream like crazy! (Stelluna was parked in Chris' moms driveway because thankfully she has an enormous drive way). There truly is no place like home. My own bed, making coffee the exact way I like it, knowing where ever thing is, my cozy little working nook. Oh i forgot to mention something really cool happened while we were there...we were interviewed on local news 12 about our journey - again!. I'll share that video shortly.
Our main destination is to be in Key West by December. On the way, we stopped here in Panther Lake in Andover, NJ, before heading to DC (for another quick stop) because Chris had some work meetings.
Panther Lake was a great quick stopping point so we didn't take much advantage of the amenities (which there appear to be a plethora of like pool, playground, beach, mini golf, basket ball court, sand beach, etc). Honestly we almost never take advantage of amenities anywhere we go other than laundry. But if you're traveling with a family, I can imagine this place would make a wonderful camping week and having all these amenities = game changer.
