Exploring Urbit with Keaton Dunsford [Part 2]
Urbit is a fascinating project in the Web3 space -- creating a new operating system built around the ideas of functional programming, decentralization, and user control of data.
Urbit is an entire computing, networking, and application design model built into one, that makes different trade-offs than the Linux ecosystem with potentially interesting results. Urbit is so different than anything I'm used to that it will most likely take a while for any developer to wrap their head around it.
Keaton Dunsford is a software developer at Tlon (the parent company of Urbit) and returns to Decypher to help me explore the Urbit ecosystem and try to make sense of the new paradigms they are introducing into the world.
