(I know this seems like a lot to read but it explains the plot of the trailer)
A long time ago, people lived on the surface. Life was normal, but as time passed all countries slowly started being against each other for various reasons. Money, power, territory. Nothing new basically, but far worse than ever before.
In just a few decades, the strongest countries started the third world war. A nuclear war. The worst one in the history of man kind. The war lasted for over a hundred years, until the planet was no longer as it was before. The Earth was completely destroyed. The few that survived fled underneath the surface, creating isolated underground cities.
After the war, there was no life on the surface. It was highly radioactive and uninhabitable. At first it was hard, but over the years people got used to this new lifestyle. They built huge cement walls around and above the city to prevent any radiation coming inside.
There were a few rules but one was the most important. So important that anyone who would brake it would be sentenced to death.
Do not go outside the city walls onto the surface.
The most important rule, one that everyone obeyed. And that was crucial for the city's survival because if someone would open the city gates, or make a hole in the wall to go to the surface the radiation would slowly reach the city and kill everyone inside.
Besides, it would be a suicide mission and there was no need to go onto the surface.
That's at least what the leaders of the city led the people to believe...
In a turn of events, a child from the surface was brought into the city after a couple fled and escaped into what they thought would be certain death. After realizing all they've been told their whole life about the surface was untrue, they returned with the child.
After years of being raised underground, his dreams are filled with flashes from his early childhood. His memories of a forgotten world.
But he must keep it a secret. His memories are a threat to the leaders of the city. They wish to keep their lies alive, forcing people to stay and that way protect their power.
Therefore, the pure one must be eliminated...
