We Visited Ukraine: Getting From Transnistria to Odesa
Join us on our travel adventures around Europe! We finished up our time in Moldova and head out to explore a country that doesn't really exist: Transnistria! From here we begin our travel series in Ukraine, starting with the beautiful city of Odesa.

The tour company picked us up in Moldova, took us around Transnistria, and dropped us off in our accommodation in Odesa, Ukraine. We 100% recommend this company, we had such an epic time with them, and getting all the history and cultural insights from a local was amazing.
Transnistria, officially the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, is an unrecognised breakaway state that is internationally recognised as a part of Moldova. The largest city (and capital) of Transnistria is Tiraspol. The "country" of Transnistria is located in between Moldova and Ukraine, along the Dniester river.
The remainder of the video includes major highlights of our time in Odesa, one of our favourite places we visited in Ukraine! One of our top highlights was the stunning Transfiguration Church.
We spent the next two weeks traveling around Ukraine including the Ukrainian countryside in Western Ukraine and the infamous Chernobyl site. Stay tuned!
