'CUBICLES' is a short film directed by Zak Stevendale, starring Daisy Parry, Cici Hughes, Ben Gilvear, Lily Walker, Calum Blackie and Marius Hatteland-Dunn. 'CUBICLES' is a student-led project by young filmmakers from the University of Bristol and UWE. Cubicles is inspired by grimy club bathrooms, fluorescent colourful lights and graffiti culture, taking from alternative and underground cultures and aesthetics. Its narrative themes take from gossip culture and evokes a sense of nostalgia through its reference to 90’s acid house and British rave culture. It's funny, fast-paced and gorgeous to look at. The feeling of going out with friends and talking sh*t is what ‘CUBICLES’ is all about. If you love the sound of this film, its team is currently asking for donations to apply to film festivals and recoup production costs.
