[World Record] DKC: Tropical Freeze Any% Speedrun in
Decided to randomly play the game yesterday and accidentally got WR in the first run of the session. This run was pretty clean and only lost a bunch in 4-6 because I somehow got stuck in the maze section and had to wait an entire barrel cycle. With all the current timesave considered I don't think a run faster than a mid 1:21:0X is realistic at the moment. There is a chance of getting an IL Dosido in 3-3 in a run but the odds of hitting everything are quite slim although I do believe that this is going to be future of Any% in a couple years from now. I'm extremely pleased with this run and had an especially gorgeous world 1 and 6 and hit basically every trick you could imagine. I'll leave this run how it is and I'll see you eventually lmao. I'm likely not touching this category ever again for the next few years so good luck to the other runners ;)
If you are wondering why the timer gives a 1:21:20 but the title says 1:21:19, it's basically because I retimed the run and the time turned out to be around a 1:21:19.967 actually which means that I'm the first person to reach a 1:21:1X.
