mmanuel "Manny" Dapidran Pacquiao, PLH (/ˈpæki.aʊ/ PAK-ee-ow; Tagalog: [pɐkˈjaʊ];[7] born December 17, 1978), is a Filipino world champion professional boxer. At 32 he was elected to the Philippine House of Representatives. He has also been involved in basketball,[8] acting, and singing.[9]
He is the first and only eight-division world champion,[10] in which he has won ten world titles, as well as the first to win the lineal championship in four different weight classes.[11] According to Forbes, he was the 2nd highest paid athlete in the world as of 2015.[12]
He was named "Fighter of the Decade" for the 2000s (decade) by the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA), World Boxing Council (WBC) and World Boxing Organization (WBO). He is also a three-time The Ring and BWAA "Fighter of the Year," winning the award in 2006, 2008, and 2009, and the Best Fighter ESPY Award in 2009 and 2011.[13]
He is currently ranked number eight on the Ring and the longest reigning top-10 on the pound-for-pound list.[14] BoxRec ranks him as the greatest Filipino fighter of all-time.[15]

Gennady Gennadyevich Golovkin (Kazakh: Геннадий Геннадьевич Головкин; born 8 April 1982) is a Kazakh professional boxer. He is the current, unified WBA (Super), IBF, WBC (interim) and IBO middleweight champion. BoxRec currently ranks him as the world's number one middleweight, and number two pound for pound.[1][2] He is also ranked as the fourth best boxer in the world by The Ring magazine.[3] For his efforts in 2013, Golovkin was named the Fighter of the Year by readers of The Ring.[4]
Golovkin holds the highest knockout percentage – 91.2% – in middleweight championship history and is said to have one of the hardest chins in modern boxing, having never been knocked down or knocked out in over 375 fights, either as a professional, amateur or in sparring.[5] As an amateur he represented Kazakhstan at the 2004 Summer Olympics, winning a silver medal in the middleweight division. In 2003, he won gold at the World Amateur Boxing Championships.
