More than ever I am feeling inspired and free to explore the sound and songwriting of Twin Shadow. In a culture full of options and a world that is moving at a breakneck speed I hope that you can come to Twin Shadow to slow down your days and nights, to be in touch with your overwhelming emotions and mostly your heartache. On Feb 13th I'll release ‘Only for the Broken-Hearted,’ a song about the understanding that someone gains from taking the risks of loving another person in a big way. In this case, as in many of these chance steps, the love I experienced failed itself and while love is something I feel I have in abundance I still cannot seem to wrap it around another person. It's fucking sad. Still, the feeling of admitting this carries me on to another chance. Another possible peak.
I can’t promise you that every song I release will be perfect, I can't even say that I will like them in the end, but I can guarantee you consistent quality. As I make music for you, I’d like to hear how these new songs make you feel (love & hate).
