Floating through Caverns - Calaveras Adventure Episode 5
It’s our last day of adventuring in the Angel’s Camp area.
Today we get to float through two caverns, or “Natural Bridges”. It’s a great escape from the heat, and it’s a spectacular place to see.

The trailhead is off Parrotts Ferry Road. Parking is $8 and allowed only in the designated area. The interagency pass works here as well. This is one of the most popular wilderness destinations in the county, so be sure to get there early. Heavy usage of the trail negatively impacts plants, wildlife, and the natural beauty and enjoyment of the trail, so if the parking area is full, it is advised that you come back a different day. Due to the geological sensitivity of this outstanding natural formation, dogs are not allowed.
