Vesemir is not so neutral after all - The Witcher 3
Witchers are supposed to be neutral but Vesemir's support of the Northern Realms and King Radovid shows that he is not really neutral. The conversation between Vesemir and Geralt happens during the 'Lilac and Gooseberries' main quest at White Orchard.
