LEARNING THE GLIDECAM 1000HD TAKE2 "Waydes World Hawaii"
This is the second VIDEO TEST of the CANON G1X and the GLIDECAM 1000HD. I continue to be FRUSTRATED by the GLIDECAM, but I believe it is now Balanced! I am still having some small issues with learning how to use the GLIDECAM, there is a HUGE learning curve once you get it Dialed in to work with the Canon G1X. I have a perfect Drop time of about 3 secs, and the left to right motion is much better then before, but learning to move it left and right and up and down under the gimble is frustrating...Can anyone help me? Can anyone tell me how much pressure I need under the gimble? in windy conditions the Glidecam is pretty much USELESS! Considering VERY FEW have this Camera and exact setup I don't think I know of ANYONE who would be able to help. The journey continues on my own. Any help would be GREAT! Thank you!
