BOATS Arrive In DayZ Experimental Update 1.26 - Showcase & Look Into The Server Mission Files Code
DayZ just dropped an update to the Xbox & PC experimental servers which included the long-awaited addition of boats, so in this video we take a look at these out-board powered Rubber Dinghies & try to answer some of the most important questions!
I look at how you get the boats working, (with a spark-plug & fuel), is there any inventory storage space (no, not at the moment), can you sink them (no, but you can ruin the engine) can you stand up in them (only when stopped) can you fish from them (not at the moment) & can you just drop stuff like barrels inside the boat to move it (no, items just fall out of the boat).
I also show you the different colour variations of the boats and discuss where they spawn, then we look at the types.xml, spawnabletypes.xml, events.xml and cfgeventspawns.xml Community Server Mission files for PC & Xbox (& PlayStation when the patch goes public).
