This video will demonstrate a typical microphone set-up using a Rode Microphone boom arm. I will also show you why you should use a Rode Microphone boom arm to achieve a better sound from your home studio. I will discuss signal flow, gain-staging and background noise. (otherwise known as the "noise floor"). I will demonstrate some advanced audio techniques along the way. There is also a short clip of me installing the Rode boom arm in my studio.
