Fender Strat Resurection - Chris Arock
Found a 30$ Strat online, the neck was in good shape, the body was full of holes, the paint was halfway gone, the electronics destroyed.
It sounded great, I invested 100$ in electronics & hardware.
The guitar track from the music was recorded with this guitar.
Steps :
Removed paint / clearcoat
Reshaped with a rotary sander
Smoothed the curves
Wood conditionement
Deep stain
Sanded over-stained layer
Rounded some curves
Danish oiled
Wax / Polished
Soldering
Magnetic shieding
Mounted electronics
