Never mind the elevator we fixed the other day, this time we tackled a completely different problem, but thankfully we finished it without incident. We went down into the shaft of that old elevator whose motor had blown the other day and carried out a major overhaul.
After elevators that break down every day, this job went smoothly. We meticulously replaced every part that needed replacing in the shaft. We weren't going to throw the elevator away just because the motor burned out, so we went into the shaft and brought it back to life with the overhaul.
