Join Steinhardt Clinical Nutrition Alumna Layne Lieberman, RDN, MS, LDN, culinary nutritionist, and award-winning author of “Beyond The Mediterranean Diet: European Secrets Of The Super-Healthy,” for a virtual nutrition workshop and cooking class. Layne is hailed as a nutrition expert on numerous television and radio shows and has contributed to various leading magazines and online sites, including the Huffington Post USA and UK. She also leads culinary tours to southern Italy targeted to registered dietitians and those seeking an in-depth Mediterranean diet experience. Jennifer Berg, Director Graduate Food Studies, will act as moderator. The online event will feature a tour of the NYU Urban Farm by Melissa Metrick, NYU Urban Farm Lab Manager.
