One of the biggest misunderstandings when it comes to floor heating is that the entire floor will need to be replaced if the system stops working. In fact, from our 20 plus years of experience, most floor heating repairs can be made by replacing no more than 1 or 2 pieces of flooring. By using the installation smartplan we provide with every order and the right tools, you can easily pinpoint where the system is damaged. After excavating a piece or two of flooring from this area, a splice repair can often be made to repair the floor. Once it's confirmed working again, the flooring can be replaced and the system used as normal. Watch this webinar to learn more about this and many other types of floor heating repairs that can be made to any electric floor heating system.
