Roman Church: Augustine vs Pelagius
Here, we'll examine the early church's dispute over the nature of sin, and human free will. On the one side is Augustine, who believed that humans are born sinful, and need God to rescue them. On the other side is Pelagius, who believed that humans are free, and capable - themselves - of choosing right action over wrong.
