How to Fix msvcp140.dll Missing and vcruntime140.dll Not Found on PC (Windows)
In this video, I'll show how to fix "msvcp140.dll missing", "vcruntime140.dll is missing" and "vcomp110.dll is missing", "the code execution cannot proceed because vcruntime140.dll was not found" errors.
The msvcp140.dll missing, vcruntime140.dll missing, and the vcomp110.dll missing errors are all related to the absence of the adequate Microsoft Visual Redistributable files in your computer. However, in many cases, players already have installed the latest redistributables, and for this reason, they are unable to install the missing redistributables, which are still needed for some legacy old games, such as GTA V, and others. For this reason, the procedure to correct this issue can be quite specific. Follow the steps of the video to fix this problem.
1. Click on the Windows icon or press the Windows key
2. Write "Add or remove programs"
3. Open "Add or remove programs"
4. Click on search and write "Redistributables"
5. Pay attention if you have Redistributables installed after 2013. If you don't have any Redistributables between 2013 and the latest ones, then you don't have the 2015 ones installed.
6. Go to the Internet
7. Search for "Microsoft Visual Redistributables 2015"
8. Click on "Download"
9. Select both the "86x" and the "64x" files
10. Run the 86x installer
11. Run the 64x installer
12. Go to the Internet
13. Search for "Microsoft latest redistributables"
14. Look in the list for the latest redistributables, or for the ones that come after 2015
15. Click on "Download"
16. Download the "86x" and the "64x" files
17. Run the 86x installer
18. Run the 64x installer
19. Restart your computer
