SEO stands for search engine optimization. To ensure people find our articles through search engines, we need to configure our website in a specific way: create robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and other files, and register on specialized webmaster platforms.
Articles should be written in a way that includes keywords, such as "how to create a website using a builder" or "creating websites using a builder." The better our article is written, the more often search engines will suggest it to people searching for that query online.
Behavioral factors are also taken into account: did the user read the article to the end, did the site load quickly for the user, does it work on the mobile version and with mobile internet, and so on.
In this lesson, we'll cover the basics of SEO optimization and install the necessary plugins. SEO is generally a specialist's job, so this lesson only covers the basics, without diving into the subject.
