Remember Windows Media Player skins? Back in the early 2000s, Microsoft used to let you take that boring old interface that we all use to play video and audio files on our computers and transform it into a completely different-looking application. From a giant green head to an alien-looking sci-fi spaceship, the only limit to how your Windows Media Player could look was your imagination. But did you know that this "skins" feature is still usable today, even on modern Windows PCs? Probably not; even I didn't know that until not too long ago. Then I fell down one of the most absurd rabbit holes I've ever come across and now I know it well enough to make a 50 minute video about it. Enjoy!
