3. Safety-Related Alarms:
• Definition: Safety-related alarms are alarms that indicate a condition that could lead to a hazardous situation if not addressed promptly. These alarms are designed to alert operators to take immediate corrective actions to prevent accidents or damage.
• Examples: Safety-related alarms may include high-pressure warnings, high-temperature alerts, toxic gas detection, emergency shutdown signals, or any other condition that could compromise the safety of the system.
