Identifying and combatting disinformation
Based on real-world experience and as part of a collaboration between France and Estonia, supported by the NATO Public Diplomacy Division, this session will highlight the many risks associated with the rise of disinformation. Faced with large-scale campaigns widely spreading fake news on social networks and among the public, it is vital to make young people aware of the tools that can help them fight these new hybrid threats, which are destabilising peace and democracies.
