Simple High Efficiency Mob Spawner XP Farm Minecraft Bedrock Tutorial 1.14
For zombies and skeletons. High efficiency but still simple. It's basic and can be done early game, the only thing you need from the nether is a single piece of soul sand.
I don't like calling things "the best" but there's hardly any room for improvement here, so it might as well be the current best design out there, and possibly also the best possible.

Note: This is broken in 1.16 due to it making use of gravity block stacking.
