In Search of JaPOW! at Asahidake, Hokkaido, Japan
The wind gods were kind and allowed a day where the cable car was running up to the mighty Asahidake backcountry slopes. Challenging terrain, but quintessential JaPOW! action up there. GillyG was a bit jiggered out from too much previous off-piste, digging out of waist deep pow shenanigans, so she sat it out, but hopefully we'll be back at the end of the week before we head home.
