I rode my bike and I saw a cat. It didn’t look lost so that-was-that. I pull up to the mill and I saw a car, it was driving kinda fast so I pulled away. Down by the pond I dropped right in, the water was so cold it gave my a shock.
On my way back it was getting dark. I tried to get my bearings but I-was lost. I found my self in a forest, so I tried to get out. I slipped on a rock and I fell on my back.
When I woke up I came to tears. My bike was broken, and my lock. I didn’t have a clue about, where I-was. I tried to move on but it was hard. Over the hill I spotted the mill. The bricks were cracked and the windows shattered.
I checked my clock, it was one o clock. When I went to the mill, I spotted the cat. It looked ferocious so I ran away. Just as I got to the tree line, I heard a shout. It was coming from a man on the road. Then I heard I shot and the cat was gone.
To this day, I will say. I’ve never went near the mill ever since. Some arsonist came, and set it ablaze. The mill was demolished, and the rubble cleared. It’s been over 11 years but the legend remains. Those who walk the mill trail will be in for a shock.
