Crazy Horse Memorial South Dakota
The Crazy Horse Memorial is a privately funded memorial and is being built to protect and preserve the culture, tradition, and living heritage of the indigenous people of North America. It is located about 4 miles from Custer, South Dakota in the Black Hills.
It is a wonderful place to visit. There are three museums, an orientation film, cultural programs, and several viewing areas to see the ongoing mountain carving of Chief Crazy Horse.
