Backstory:
I wrote Through The Storm for anyone who’s had covid/tough time over the past 18 months, and is particularly dedicated to those with Long Covid. I know personally what a difficult journey that can be. The line “wish I could hold you through the storm you’ve had to weather” is in reflection of people who couldn’t physically be with their loved ones whilst they were suffering. This is a really personal song for me, so I hope you connect with the music.

This was my first professional music vid shoot with the amazing @matthewbarsby - Matt was so great to work with, really friendly and professional. Plus, he scouted some awesome locations for us to film in AND his drone footage takes the video to another level (in my humble opinion!). So, if you’re wanting a videographer or photographer in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK etc. - definitely go work with Matt! He made me feel safe / comfortable, and not so much like a muppet prancing around in a dress, often with people watching - we definitely entertained some local walkers at several points 😂
It’s been a massive achievement for me to get to this point. Yay for painkillers/sports drinks/caffeine 🤣 Shooting a music video is demanding at the best of times, so I usually film over about 4-5 days/often spread over several weeks (I find I can manage my energy better that way) as you need to put a lot into any performance.
