January, 19, 2020 I attempted a winter camping trip consisting of one overnight. Unfortunately, I had a little mishap on the trail. Between the fall and then cold temps we ended up bailing on the camping trip. I definitely want to revisit this area but it's not one I recommend during spring/summer due to swamp and bug conditions. This is totally a trail you want to do in winter when the ground is more frozen and hard.
