When Outriders was first announced, the big question was, "Is this game going to kill Destiny 2?" Now that the game is out, let's break it down.

On April 1, Outriders officially launched with both excitement and frustration. Although the game itself was praised for its mechanics, weapon feel, and ability to create wonderful builds, server issues plague players ability to play with their friends, much less even play the game. But nevertheless, the game has received positive reception and drew a bit of a discussion about the live service genre and if Outriders is a live service game. In the vein of live service, I also discuss the earlier speculation if Outriders will kill Destiny 2, a question everyone usually has when a new live service-esque game comes out.
