The Triplex Cube - 6500 Dominoes
Here it is: THE TRIPLEX CUBE!
Inspired by a smaller instance used in a previous video ( • Builders Challenges III - 9,000 Dominoes ), we decided to finally scale it up. It consumed approximately three times as many stones as its prototype. Fortunately, we still managed to set it up WITHOUT A SINGLE FAIL.
The Triplex Cube actually consists of three independent cubes. The eye-catching tower in the centre is almost independent of the cubes, however, due to the high risk of that tower crashing the whole structure., we pioneered a unique solution to stabilise it.
In total, it took two days (and a lot of patience!) to build.
