Floyd & Boyd Amason / 1970s Christian TV Performance
When I was in college in the early 70s, I had a professor who said that there was no such thing as a miracle! His comment really upset me. I left class and went back to my dorm room. I started looking through the old Southern Baptist Hymnal from the 50s, and I found a hymn that said exactly what I wanted to say to my professor. I took that old hymn and composed new music for it, simply because I had not learned to read music and did not know the original tune. The name of the hymn was, "I Know The Bible is True". This video performance was on Dr. Lester Sumrall's television show on the LeSEA Broadcasting Network. We first performed on Dr. Sumrall's show in Miami, Florida, and later at his church and TV show in South Bend, Indiana.
