Pismo Beach was AMAZING! It was the first place that captured the vibe I was expecting from California. It's like California showed off its fun side – drive on the beach, bring your furry friends, let the kids go wild, and just enjoy the sun, sand, and sea! It's the epitome of California dreaming!

Day 55 of 75:
Airidessa Airstream made it on California 1 from Leggett to Pismo Beach!! And the rest of the family did okay as well. 😉
And I can check off California 1 off my bucket list!!! Thanks, Babes!! It was NOT Jason’s first choice to do this, but that’s what LOVE is all about. 😘🥰
We decide to unhitch at Pismo Beach Campground so we can explore the area. To our surprise you can drive on the beach! We enjoy the Pismo Beach sunset as we drive up and down the beach careful to not get salt water on the truck. 😎
Pismo Beach knows how to party!! 🤩🥳
We are loving it here!! 🏖🌅🛻🏝
Pismo Beach really knows how to party, but you do need to look both ways for vehicles before you cross the beach. 🤣
Day 56:
I will always treasure these memories we’ve made. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for allowing us this extraordinary and unbelievable experience exploring Your inspiring creation!!
Although we’d like to stay a bit longer, our time on the Pacific Coast has come to an end.......
But we have a lot of awesome stops on our way back home to Michigan!!!!
But first a little tire repair. We picked up a nail in one of Airidessa Airstream’s tires, most likely on that crazy construction road going to Many Glacier. But no fear, Medina’s is here! They very kindly fit our repair in and then only wanted to charge $15 for the fix! We highly recommend Medina’s if you’re ever in the Pismo Beach area. 😉
With Airidessa feeling fancy with her mini pedicure, we are off to Sequoia National Park!!
It Doesn’t seem to matter how young or old you are. There is just something so enjoyable about watching ducks in the water. It always puts a little smile on my face as they seem to have a perfect mix of gracefulness and awkwardness all at the same time. Although these mallard ducks were something we were used to seeing in Michigan , this whimsical bottlebrush was a whole new experience for us! They kind of reminded me of Dr. Seuss trees.

We were so excited to finally get to Pismo Beach!
After spending the last three days driving from the official start of California one in Legget, pulling our Airstream all the way down the curvy coast - we are ready to take a break from California 1 driving and enjoy some beach time!
We arrived at Pismo Beach just in time to have a quick dinner and head to the beach for Sunset.
Pismo Beach was the perfect party beach, and yes, Camping is allowed. Dogs are allowed, horses are allowed, driving on the beach is allowed, and even campfires are allowed and designated areas with size regulations.
Of course you’ll need to double check all of these rules before you make any of your plans for Pismo Beach.
Pismo Beach was exactly what we needed after three semi-stressful days driving in California one. After spending over three weeks on the Pacific coast from the Olympic peninsula in Washington all the way down here to Pismo Beach, We just took it all in as this was our last night on the Pacific Coast. Tomorrow we head to a very special National Park.
Worn out or not we were headed to our next adventure. This was our last morning on the Pacific Coast.
Next, we had inland to a very impressive National Park that turns out to be much more magnificent than we initially expected.
Join us on this recap of our 4 Hour Dr. inland and let us know in the comments if you can tell which National Park will be visiting next
