Hanna-Barbera Alice in Wonderland Chase Music
Been holding onto this for a while.
When I watched Hanna-Barbera cartoons as a kid, some cartoon music stuck with me more than others. This one, often heard in cartoons around 1966, was used in MANY cartoons, from Secret Squirrel to Peter Potamus, Yippee Yappee and Yahooey, Ricochet Rabbit, Laurel and Hardy, Abbott and Costello and so on. It's a piece that often stuck with me.
About a year ago, I discovered it came from Alice in Wonderland, a Hanna-Barbera TV special from 1966. A lot of cartoons recycled music from this special, including this one, but to my knowledge, no archive has a copy of the piece.
so, by cutting bits from MANY different cartoons, audio albums and various other means, I managed to edit together a complete copy of the piece. I'm sharing it so you can hear it and, with a bit of luck, someone who HAS the original might be willing to share it after listening to this edit.
I COULD try to do this with other HB cues, but so far this is the only one I practiced it with.
