Olympics to Utah 2034
Utah will host the 2034 Winter Olympics brings fond memories of the 2002 Winter Olympics, and the excitement is growing as we anticipate our role in 2034.
West Valley City’s Maverik Center (then known as the E Center) served as one of two ice hockey venues for the 2002 Olympics, and Salt Lake County’s Acord Ice Center was used as a practice facility. In addition, the clubhouse at The Ridge Golf Club (then known as WestRidge Golf Course) was converted into the Holland Heineken House and used as a welcome center for Dutch athletes along with their supporters and fans.
