How to use the parkrun virtual volunteer app - v2.0 (QR code addition)
Taking the forthcoming virtual volunteer app update for a spin.
Please note forgotten information:
if you upload having scanned your barcode to identify yourself it will add you automatically to the roster.
The enter your full name option which we didn't show is not a search function, it is a note maker.
HQ will still be asking for printed barcodes only please from participants.
If a position token doesn’t scan you can move onto the next person’s barcode and send the unscannable over to the relevant volunteer to note.
The phone was on mute. The phone will bleep when you press for a time.
The QR code stays the same unless compromised and it needs changing by HQ.
