want to use custom emotes? download the BetterTTV extension (https://betterttv.com/) and give it access to YouTube!
after installing, click the three vertical dots on the chat box, click "BetterTTV settings" and check "Emote Menu" to set it up. if the BetterTTV option doesn't appear in the menu after getting the extension, try refreshing the page.
if you're on mobile or TV, typing the emote's exact name in chat will make it show up in the chat on screen.
