One of the most mind-blowing miracles in the Bible is when Jesus walks on water. For Christians, this event is a powerful demonstration of Jesus' divine power and his connection to God. It's a turning point in the lives of his disciples, showing them that Jesus is more than just a great teacher or prophet.
The disciples had just been fed a huge crowd of people with five loaves of bread and two fish, and Jesus had been praying alone on a mountain. Meanwhile, they were heading across the Sea of Galilee in a boat, trying to get to the other side. A strong storm blew in, with waves crashing against the boat. The disciples were terrified, rowing as hard as they could to stay afloat.
Their fear and doubt were understandable, given the circumstances. They had been following Jesus, witnessing his amazing miracles and teachings, but this was different. They were in a desperate situation, and it seemed like Jesus was nowhere to be found. The storm was intense, and they thought they might not make it.
The disciples' emotions were all over the place - they were scared, frustrated, and maybe even feeling a bit hopeless. They had trusted Jesus to guide them, but now it seemed like he was absent. Their faith was being tested in a big way.
