Film for climate: 400 euros for climate
How can a CZK 10 000 (€ 400) subsidy be used for climate? A sociological documentary etude on whether and how this amount can mitigate the impact of climate change.

People in Need awarded funds to 12 university students to make short films with the subtitle: “Film for Climate”. Six diverse works linked by the theme of climate change from the perspective of young filmmakers were made. Throughout the preparation of the script and the creation of the films, all the filmmakers could consult documentarists Tereza Reichova and Jan Sachr as well as Veronika Ambrozy and Veronika Endrstova, climate change experts from People in Need’s Varianty educational programme that has long focused on climate change. Some of the films will be further available to discuss climate change in class, such as on the website Ucim o klimatu (https://ucimoklimatu.cz/) (“I Teach About Climate”).
