Sinopsis: Un director de cine sale a buscar escenarios para su nueva película, inspirada en un cuento de Juan José Saer. Emprende un viaje hacia el noroeste santafecino zona en la que 45 años antes su padre filmó su ópera prima (Palo y Hueso). El relato de esa excursión y la puesta en escena de su nueva película, confluyen y se entrelazan para construir la trama argumental. La crónica de la búsqueda inicial y el relato de los inesperados acontecimientos posteriores, conducen a un desenlace donde la ficción se mimetiza con la realidad, con su hormigueo impuro y fugaz.
Synopsis:A film director scouts locations for his new film, inspired by a story of Juan José Saer. While doing so, he embarks on a trip to the northwest of Santa Fe province. It is here that forty years before his father made his debut as director and where he's planning to shoot his next film.
The story of this journey, and the mis-en-scene of his new film, merge together and intertwine, building the plot.
The chronicle of the initial search, and the narration of the subsequent unexpected revelations leads to an end where fiction blends with reality and its unsure and fleeting excitement.
