🚂 About Udaipur Railway Station
Udaipur City Railway Station, with station code UDZ, is the main railway station in this Rajasthan City. There is another railway station, Rana Pratap Nagar but it is not centrally located as the Udaipur City Railway Station.
It features a total of 5 platforms and receives trains from all over India. Around 50 trains pass through this station regularly.
🚌 How to Reach Udaipur Railway Station
Auto/Cabs - You can easily get autos/cabs for the station and outside the station for your destination.
There is a parking area available inside the station compound where visitors can park their cars to pick up their friends or relatives.

There are a few food stalls, and restaurants available in Udaipur City Railway Station
🚾 Facilities at Udaipur Railway Station
Retiring Rooms - There are three types of Retiring Rooms available at UDZ - A.C. Double Bed, Non A.C. Double Bed, and Dormitory and their pricing is shown in the video. If you have booked your train tickets online, then you can book the Retiring room through the IRCTC portal itself and will see the option under the booked train.
For those who have booked the tickets offline, you can still book the Retiring room online by using the PNR number. If you cannot book the Retiring room online, you can try booking it offline at the station, provided there is availability.
Escalator - There is an escalator available on platform 1 to reach the overhead bridge and get down at other platforms. So, if you have a lot of luggage or cannot carry the bags, then it is a great option to reach your platform.
Drinking Water - You will find drinking water readily available for filling up your bottles or drinking throughout the platforms.
Ramp - There is also a ramp on Platform Number 1, near the exit, that makes it easy to get your luggage out of the station.
Waiting Hall - There is a basic waiting hall on platform 1 where you can wait for your train.
Toilets - There are toilets available on platform 1 both on the platforms and inside the waiting halls that you can use.
