Battery powered lights using LEDs are one of those technologies that created so many new possibilities when it comes to lighting our homes and workspaces. The addition of a remote control and timer functions can further enhance their many uses but all too often they use Alkaline or "disposable" batteries generating significant amounts of waste and increasing running costs.
