#GitHub for Beginners and #Git Commands: Add, Commit, Push, and Removing - GitHub #Tutorial 2023 - Pt 2 ( important caution about using the "--cached" flag). Important #front-end #web #development.

In this beginner tutorial I'm going to walk you through using the basic git commands to initialize and push a new project to your GitHub repository. I will discuss the 3 locations where a file may reside: the “Working Directory”, the “Local Git Repository”, and the “Remote GitHub Repository”. I'll demonstrate how to use the git commands, “git add”, “git rm” “git status”, “git commit”, and "git push", to move from one location to another. You will also come away with an important caution about using the "--cached" flag about removing files.

Thank you for watching, and I hope you find the information easy to understand and practice. If so, please like my video and let me know what you liked. Also, subscribe to my channel and share this content with everyone who is on the path to becoming a source coder!
