Statements @ 30 - Ursel Schlicht & Hans Tammen
Pianist Ursel Schlicht and guitarist Hans Tammen collaborate under the name STATEMENTS since the early 1990s. Their first CD (Hybrid Records, 1995) was called STATEMENTS featured no less than 30 short concise musical pieces with a wide sonic spectrum. Both were using a multitude of objects on guitar and piano, creating a mostly acoustic language far from conventional sounds on these instruments. https://hanstammen.bandcamp.com/album...
In October 2023, they celebrated “Statements” at Scholes Street Studio in Brooklyn, performing both as a duo and with friends.
