Cult of Chucky - This Is the End, Friend (HD)
With permission for review purposes of the latest horror installment to the 'Child's Play' franchise, director Don Mancini returns to his creation and demonstrates his particular blend of suspense and twisted humor through creative camerawork and well-paced editing. The new doll may not be as creepy as the original, but the special effects are an improvement, allowing Chucky to be in a wide shot with its live-action cast members. And here, after years of dealing with the trauma he experience owning a Chucky doll, Andy gets his revenge. The Blu-ray from Universal Studios arrives with excellent video and audio. Cult enthusiasts and fans of the franchise will want to proudly display this worthy entry in their Chucky collection.
