In the last task we learned how to set up a free pix art account using google facebook or email and find our account settings in this task we will learn how to navigate pix art the pix art website should already be loaded and you should be logged in to your new pix art account if you have not logged in pause the video now to complete this step let's take a look around pix art you should be on your pix art main page where you will see the menus across the top of the page you can see links to menus create products discover learn and pricing then over to the far right you'll see the silhouette icon for your account pointed out in the previous task let's start with the silhouette icon click on the icon to reveal a menu on the menu, you'll see your account name an option to connect with friends who also use pixart

adjust your settings and log out we will now work from right to left when clicking on the pricing link you'll see a new page load with an option to subscribe to pix art as you can see a subscription unlocks additional tools and templates for creative work hover over the learn link to review another menu of options learn offers a variety of written project specific tutorials tips and tricks and additional how-to information and text from the discover link allows us to find inspiration in new projects participate in challenges and discover projects related to hashtags within a variety of categories next hover over products the products menu offers a variety of different templates and tool options for a new project finally the create menu link click on create it will take us to a new page with options for creating our first project you can see editing tools like text editor adding effects and removing a background we are offered options for various social media platforms which require specific sizes depending on where we want to place our post finally we can see past projects under my collections as we begin to we begin to build and create projects this concludes this task if you need more time please pause the video now to take a look around and explore the menu options offered in this free version of pixart. in this task, we learned how to navigate pix art.
In the next task, we will begin our project editing a photo for social media post. This is the project that we will begin you can see that this is the social media size post and we will learn how to use the graphic design tools to edit this photo.
