3rd DJI Test Flight - Interference/Metal Objects/Crash/Walk of Shame/Still Flies
Wanted to test the drone in the worst flying conditions..indoors, surrounded by electrical interference and large metal objects.
You can see it wants to drift around..towards the metal object mostly...and it is hard to get it to go in a straight path without bobbling and drifting to the side.
On the first flight, i stayed in one spot....so when the drone got about 100 feet away, i lost all control due to the interference, and it went right into a wall.
Luckily, it wasn't going too fast and only fell 5 feet. I checked it out and all that happened was the end of one of the props was snapped off. Put a spare on and it flew like nothing happened. But still bobs and drifts due to everything around it.
Just to be safe, i stayed about 6 or 7 feet behind it the rest of the time so to not lose connection.
