Braid the Fin Whale – 1/8/22
Today I had the kind of unforgettable encounter every whale watcher dreams of while on a whale-watching boat in the waters off Provincetown. As the boat sat in neutral, unmoving, a Fin Whale (Balaenoptera physalus) surfaced off the starboard side, diving in our direction.
