From its initiation in 2016, the Shanghai Project serves as an idea platform to instigate new dialogues by inviting practitioners from a variety of disciplines, including not only liberal arts and social science, but also technology, medicine, and ecology, among others. Under the co-directorship of Dr. Yongwoo Lee and Hans Ulrich Obrist, the Shanghai Project brings together artists, designers, architects, economists, environmentalists, biologists, and journalists to think, discuss, relate, and act on the sustainability of our futures in the 22nd century.
