How I Find and Hunt Crowded and Pressured Public Land - Crazy Easy
Hunting on public land seems to always get negative feedback from other hunters. This feedback mainly comes from those that have private land and have lost the thrill of the journey while blaming failure on hunting pressure and the crowd of hunters in the woods.
I always get asked where and how I find and hunt public land when it is so crowded and hunting pressure is high. I decided to do a little video to go over an area in the public where I choose I wanted to go hunt. The first thing I had to do was find it and then break it down to see if it was a good fit.
How I find and hunt public land is pretty straightforward for even a beginner. There are not many times that I go out to a new spot after digitally scouting and do not have an opportunity to tag a deer with my compound bow.
Finding a place on public land can be overwhelming at first but once you get the hang of it, you will be a pro in no time.
Digitally scouting is easy and typically is my first step before heading out. However, nothing beats getting there and scouting in person.
